Forever Soon

The colour is Jasmine Green. The sun is left hiding in the clouds. I am stuck to my ambitions so listen to the sirens when my love comes crashing through the city.

A whirl wind close to home. My headquarters had shattered glass everywhere. Tamil highway blockades to my unjustified caregivers. This Janina train has let loose. Overstock on the tired poets & a brick thru my reflection. I think it’s time to start a riot.

I am grateful enough to have an unbelievable supporting cast that have donated their time and services to make Alexander The possible. One of these remarkable individuals is photographer Alex Felipe.

Alex’s photography has been featured in publications and exhibitions in Canada, the USA, Italy, Australia, and the Philippines. His work has been published and/or exhibited by Amnesty International, CARE-Canada, Oxfam-Australia, NOW magazine, The Toronto Star, This Magazine, Red Bull Entertainment, the Immaginario Scientifico museum in Trieste, and others.

He is constantly armed with lens in hand. So I can assure you, that you will be seeing much more of his work in the months to follow. Visit his website and see some of his acclaimed photography as well as his recent trip to Philippines where he worked with local and international NGOs around human rights issues.

Shattered glass in my headquarters

// June 8th, 2009 // No Comments » // [fe'ne-tik-s]

Broken glass everywhere. It seems like that these days. Broken stories with no solution. Just to steal a couple of shirts? A 3 am purchase and what you’ve bartered with me is your brick through my peripheral?

Pass through the psychedelic new age artifacts and the novelty history down the stairs into the tropic islands of the oriental pearl and you wound up at The End Studios. A shared space with Styrofoam Ones, Times Neue Roman, Huddle & Makeshift we are crashing the sounds from Toronto’s basements to club floors. Watch for the shows to come.
